FAQs

Please enjoy our candles safely and read these important details

  • Don’t touch or move your candle while lit, wait until the wax hardens.
  • Always burn a candle where you can see it and no longer than 3-4 hours at a time.
  • Never leave a candle near anything that can catch fire.
  • Extinguish flames before you leave the room. Always use a snuffer or gently blow on the flame. NEVER use water or any liquid to extinguish a candle.
  • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets at all times
  • Discontinue use when the wax level gets to ½” from the bottom of the vessel
  • Always place your candle on a flat level heat resistant surface
    • Trim the wick to ¼” before each time you light it. Properly dispose of wick trimmings instead of leaving them on the candle wax. Only trim the wick when the candle safely cool
    • Properly dispose of used matches rather than leaving them on the wax
    • Avoid burning your candle in a drafty area. This will prevent uneven burning and reduce the potential for black smoke
    • Each candle is hand-crafted and therefore each vessel may have slight variations which are natural.
    • Each candle has a wick sustainer to prevent the wax from burning all the way down for safety reasons.
    • Our vessels are not meant to be used outdoors in extreme temperatures. If a cold frost is coming, move your vessel to a warmer area in your home or garage
    • What is the best way to remove the remaining wax? Place the vessel in your freezer, for about 15-20 minutes. The wax may pop out or use a spoon to pry the wax out. The wick sustainers can be pried out too
    • Please do not eat or store food in our vessels
    • We use a proprietary soy blend wax that provides a wonderful clean burning performance
